Terms of Service

1. General

geo-image.eu is a platform for sharing and discovering places. Basic use (Private plan) is free. In addition, paid plans are offered for extended features and higher quotas; the applicable prices, features and limits are set out in the pricing overview.

2. User Content

• You are solely responsible for all content you upload (texts, images, GPX files).
• By uploading, you grant geo-image.eu a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute the content on the platform.
• You guarantee that you have all necessary rights to the uploaded content.

3. Images and Copyright

• Only upload images that you have created yourself or for which you have an explicit usage license.
• In case of copyright violations, the affected content will be removed. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.
• Users can report potentially infringing images. We process such reports promptly.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed:

• Illegal or unlawful content
• Insults, hate speech or discriminatory content
• Pornographic or violence-glorifying content
• Spam, advertising or commercial content without permission
• Content that violates the privacy of third parties

5. Liability

• geo-image.eu assumes no liability for the accuracy of user-generated content.
• You are personally liable for content you upload, especially in cases of copyright infringement.

6. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content without notice and to suspend user accounts for violations of these terms.

7. Paid Plans

• Paid plans (subscriptions) are offered at the prices stated in the pricing overview. All prices include the applicable statutory VAT unless stated otherwise.
• The contract is concluded upon completion of the order process and confirmation of payment. Billing is handled by our payment service provider Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands).
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected term unless cancelled before the end of the term. Cancellation is possible at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, via your account.
• In the event of payment default or failed recurring payments, access to the paid features may be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled; content already stored is retained and downgraded to the free plan.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal for paid contracts. Details and the model withdrawal form can be found in the withdrawal instructions. Withdrawal

9. Changes

We may change these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
